In Loving Memory of Jasper Ryan Richardson

Jasper Ryan Richardson Death, Obituary:  With hearts full of sorrow and love, we remember Jasper Ryan Richardson, a precious young soul who left this world far too soon on March 15, 2026, at just six years old. Born on November 6, 2019, in Abbeville, Jasper was a bright light from the very beginning—bringing laughter, joy, and warmth to everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.

Jasper was a child full of life, energy, and imagination. His radiant smile could light up any room, and his cheerful spirit made him unforgettable. Whether he was sprinting across a soccer field chasing after the ball, diving into imaginative adventures with his action figures, or roaring like his favorite dinosaur—a mighty T-Rex—Jasper embraced every moment with pure joy and excitement.

He had a curious and eager mind, with a special love for math, showing just how bright and inquisitive he was. Jasper also adored the color yellow—a perfect reflection of his sunny personality and the happiness he brought into the world. Like his beloved Sonic the Hedgehog, he moved through life with boundless energy, leaving laughter and smiles in his wake.

Jasper will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Kali Monteaux, his stepfather Kendrick Gaspard, his brothers Kolson and Asher Gaspard, his stepbrother Brantley, and his stepsisters Ainsley and Adeline. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Tammy Hebert and Janice Richardson, step-grandparents Derick and Crystal Conner, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Kenneth R. Monteaux, Sr., paternal grandfather Steve Richardson, and stepmother Kasie Richardson—now reunited with those who went before him.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jasper’s beautiful life at Vincent Funeral Home on March 27, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. In honor of Jasper’s bright spirit, attendees are invited to wear colorful clothing—children especially encouraged to wear yellow, a tribute to the sunshine he brought into so many lives.

Though his time on earth was brief, Jasper’s impact is immeasurable. He taught those around him about joy, innocence, and the beauty of living fully in each moment. His laughter, his energy, and his love will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, sweet Jasper. You will always be our sunshine, forever bright in our hearts.
