Kasie Luquette Richardson Death, Obituary: With heavy hearts and deep love, family and friends gather to honor the life of Kasie Luquette Richardson, who passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 33. Kasie’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, resilience, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, officiated by William “Billy” Vincent. A visitation will take place on Friday, March 20, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a rosary at 7:00 PM, and will continue Saturday morning from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
Kasie will forever be remembered as a loving mother to her daughter, Ainsley Toups, and her son, Brantley Duhon, who were the center of her world. Her love for her children was unwavering, and she took great pride in being their mother, guiding them with strength, compassion, and devotion.
She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Beth Luquette, Sr., and Angela and Stanley Birdwell, along with her siblings, Logan and Victoria Boudreaux, Brendan Birdwell, Hunter and Haley Lange, and Wayne Luquette, Jr. She also leaves behind her beloved grandmothers, Marybelle Luquette and Rachael Russell, her godchild Lillian Boudreaux, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will continue to carry her memory forward.
Kasie was preceded in death by Jasper and Brett Richardson, her grandfathers Lester Luquette, Sr. and James Russell, and her grandmother Ruby Underwood.
Those who knew Kasie describe her as vibrant, free-spirited, and deeply loving—a “wildflower in a world of chaos.” She had a unique way of bringing light into even the most difficult moments, and her presence was one that could not be ignored. Her strength, her laughter, and her authenticity made her unforgettable.
Kasie’s life was a reminder that beauty can exist even in the midst of life’s challenges. She loved fiercely, lived boldly, and left behind a legacy rooted in love, family, and resilience.
Though her passing leaves a profound ache in the hearts of those who loved her, her spirit will continue to live on through her children, her family, and the many memories she created.
